Summer Worship Services - 9:00 a.m.
Renew your spirit this summer with informal, innovative worship
services.
Pastor Wayne and several others have begun to plan the summer worship
service series that will begin on June 22 and extend to August 31st.
The services will begin at 9:00 AM and will be held in Beecher Hall.
On June 29th, Ed and Joanne Herman will lead a worship titled “Sacred
Experiences.” It will focus on ways “the Sacred” has
entered our lives, whether labeled “sacred” or not.
July 6 is a Communion Sunday in which Pastor Wayne will speak on
the various meanings of worship in our lives and the life of our
church.
On other Sundays, we may read through the day’s newspaper
from a theological/spiritual perspective; or consider the meaning(s)
of Communion; or consider what it means to be part of our denomination,
the United Church of Christ; or consider the possibilities for Mission,
Education, fellowship and Invitation in the life of the church.
We plan to include the children throughout these services, keeping
them busy and playing a part in what we do. We’ll be sitting
in a circle, not in rows, and we’ll spend some time in small
groups on some Sundays.

Seekers Lunch June 25th, 12:10
Are you a seeker? Do you have questions? Do you just want a place
to talk about spiritual, religious, or other matters? Then come to
The Seekers Lunch on Wednesday, May 21st at 12:10-12:50. Bring your
lunch, we'll provide the beverages. The Seekers Lunch will be held
on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. For further information
