I love math at Park

During the 2018-19 school year, Park Church is offering all students in the community who are studying advanced algebra, pre-calculus or calculus an opportunity to participate in weekly discussions to strengthen their conceptual understanding of mathematics. There will also be time for students to ask questions related to problems from their own work.

MATH AT Park is held on Saturdays in Beecher Hall, from 2:00-3:50 pm for calculus students and from 4:00 to 5:30 pm for advance algebra and pre-calculus students. There is no charge for students to attend the discussions, led by Michael Sherman (M.S. Mathematics, UT- Chattanooga.) He has over ten years of experience teaching mathematics at the college and high school levels, during which time over 90% of his AP Calculus students have scored 4 or 5 on the AP exam.
