Math at Park will be held on Saturdays in Beecher Hall:
  • 2:00-3:50 pm for calculus students and from
  • 4:00-5:30 pm for advanced algebra and precalculus students.
During the 2017-18 school year, Park Church will offer all students in the community who are studying advanced algebra, precalculus, or calculus an opportunity to participate in weekly discussions to strengthen their conceptual understanding of mathematics. There will also be time for students to ask questions related to problems from their own work.

There is no charge for students to attend the discussions, led by Michael Sherman (M.S. Mathematics, UT-Chattanooga.) He has over ten years of experience teaching mathematics at the college and high school levels, during which time over 90% of his AP Calculus students have scored 4 or 5 on the AP exam.

Members of the Park Church community who are interested in assisting with Math at Park in any way (with no particular mathematical background required) can contact Michael at edsonadn@yahoo.com
