Rev. Wayne Gustafson

The Rev. Wayne E. Gustafson, D.Min. is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, a Certified Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York. Presently, he is a contract patoral counselor and psychotherapist with Susquehanna Family Counseling Ministry, seeing people in Ithaca and Watkins Glen. He has just completed a time of Interim Ministry at the Groton Community Church. He has been a parish pastor, prison chaplain, pastoral counselor, and church consultant, integrating psychological and spiritual perspectives in all his work. He is also an accomplished workshop, seminar and retreat leader.

And for fun, he is also a volunteer coach for the high jumpers on the Cornell track team.

Dr. Gustafson is a graduate of Cornell University with a BA in Chemistry, and has Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry (Psychology and Clinical Studies) degrees from Andover Newton Theological School.

He and his wife, Mesa, live in the Ecovillage at Ithaca. They have one grown son.
