Remembering Hurricane Agnes
The
sanctuary will be open on Thursday and Friday for quiet reflection and
prayer to acknowledge the suffering and courage witnessed during
Hurricane Agnes’ reign of terror 40 years ago. Come say a prayer, light
a candle, and enjoy the power of God's enduring grace. Hours are noon -
2:00 pm on Thursday and 9:00 am - noon on Friday.

Summer Worship Begins 6/24
Remember that summer worship starts next Sunday as we meet in Beecher
Hall at 9:00. We will begin a discussion of "Living the Questions," an
exciting study of progressive Christianity with such thoughtful and
influential theologians as Marcus Borg, John Dominic Crossan, Rev. John
Shelby Spong, and many others. If you want a copy of the preliminary
study materials, please send a note to the office. Come have your mind
and heart fed and challenged! |
