Joseph Barber is currently the organist of The Park Church here in Elmira and formerly the Director of Music/Organist of Lake Street Presbyterian Church. He is currently the Senior Organist of Sts. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Elmira, NY.

Mr. Barber has a degree in Business Administration and is originally from Jamestown/Chautauqua, NY. Mr. Barber served as organist at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Horseheads for 7 years when he moved here from Buffalo, NY and also has assisted many times at Grace Episcopal Church here in Elmira since 1991.

He has also served as organist in churches in Jamestown as well as organist at Chautauqua Institution’s Chapel of the Good Shepherd (Episcopal) for several years, as guest organist at Chautauqua for several services at the Hall of Christ and The Hurlbut Memorial Church (Methodist).

Mr. Barber resides in Waverly, NY and is also guest organist in the area for weddings and funerals.
