Volunteers Needed For Elmira Mural Clean-Up!
The Park Church Climate Justice Team is looking for at least 10 helpers to clean around the Elmira Infinite Canvas “Love" mural at the West Second Street viaduct and the "Elmira Shines" mural along upper Railroad Avenue on SATURDAY, OCT. 3, BETWEEN 9:00 A.M.-NOON.
These beautiful pieces of public art, commissioned through a program of Community Arts of Elmira, benefit from periodic maintenance: weeding, raking, sweeping, brush clearing, and trash pickup.
Can you help? You do not need to stay the entire three hours. Bring your own tools if you have them: brooms, push brooms, rakes, hand spades, vine shears, and work gloves. Sturdy shoes and a hat or cap are recommended.
