Setting Your Name in Zoom

Overview

You can rename yourself to keep your name up-to-date when you join Zoom. On your account profile you can change your full name and your display name, which is the name that will be shown to others on Zoom.

Before You Join a Meeting (Recommended)

Change your name on the Zoom web portal

1. Go to Zoom.us and sign in.

2. In the left navigation menu, click Profile.

3. By your account profile name, click Edit.

4. For your account profile name, enter your First Name and Last Name.

5. For your Display Name, enter a name that will be shown to others on Zoom. (We suggest your full name or first name and last name initial.)

6. Click Save.

Change your name During a meeting

macOS or Windows (desktop or laptop)

1. Join the Park Church service as explained on theparkchurch.org/zoom.

2. In the meeting controls toolbar (the black strip at the bottom of your meeting window) select Participants .

3. Hover your mouse over your name, then click the ellipses .

4. Click Rename. A pop-up box will appear.

5. In the pop-up box, enter your display name.

6. Click Change.

Android or iOS Mobile Device

1. Join the Park Church service as explained on theparkchurch.org/zoom.

2. On the Zoom in-meeting controls, tap Participants .

3. Tap your name, then tap Rename. A pop-up box will appear.

4. In the pop-up box, enter your display name.
