What: Presentation about how we can achieve zero waste entitled, Getting to Zero Waste

How: Access Beecher Hall from the church's parking lot entrance off Gray St.
Why: Learn what families and community members can do to achieve an annual household waste of near zero. The presentation discusses the why and how of getting to zero waste as told through the experience of Chris and his family of four who reduced their waste to near zero by 1992 and have maintained that level since.
Strategies on how to get to zero waste will be discussed. Also, reducing waste at home means less waste going into regional landfills which improves the quality of our air and water.
